Limited Reversi — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the mobile application "Limited Reversi" (the "App") provided by PPOONN STUDIO (the "Operator", "we", "us"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to all the provisions of the Terms.

Article 1 (Scope)

  1. These Terms apply to all relationships between users and the Operator concerning the use of the App.
  2. Any individual provisions posted within the App or on our website shall form part of these Terms.
  3. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the individual provisions referred to above, the individual provisions shall prevail.

Article 2 (Operating Environment)

  1. Users shall prepare, at their own cost and responsibility, the devices, communication equipment, network connections, and electricity required to use the App.
  2. The App is intended to run on the OS versions designated by the Operator. We make no warranty regarding operation on other environments.

Article 3 (Intellectual Property)

  1. Copyrights and other intellectual property rights related to the App and its contents (source code, images, UI, text, sound effects, BGM, etc.) belong to the Operator or to the rightful holders.
  2. Third-party assets used within the App (fonts, sound effects, BGM, etc.) are subject to the license terms of their respective rights holders.
  3. Users may not copy, modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or otherwise exploit the App or its contents without our prior written permission.

Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users shall not engage in any of the following while using the App:

  1. Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals
  2. Acts related to criminal activity
  3. Acts that damage or interfere with the App's servers or networks
  4. Acts that improperly alter the App's behavior (cheating, reverse engineering, use of unauthorized tools)
  5. Acts that infringe the rights, interests, or reputation of the Operator or other users
  6. In online matches, use of nicknames that harass other users or contain obscene or discriminatory expressions
  7. Unauthorized access or attempts thereof
  8. Re-providing the App to third parties for commercial purposes (except with our prior permission)
  9. Any other conduct that the Operator deems inappropriate

Article 5 (In-App Purchases)

  1. The App offers a one-time, non-subscription in-app purchase ("Paid Content") that stops ads from being shown.
  2. Purchases of Paid Content are made through Apple App Store or Google Play, and payment processing and purchase management are governed by their respective terms.
  3. Paid Content is a one-time purchase that remains effective continuously after a single payment. It is not an auto-renewing subscription.
  4. Activation can be restored on the same Apple ID or Google account through the platform's "Restore Purchases" function, including after reinstalling the App.
  5. Refund requests should be directed to Apple or Google in accordance with each platform's policy. We generally cannot process refunds ourselves.

Article 6 (Advertising)

  1. When used without the Paid Content, the App displays banner ads and post-game video (interstitial) ads via Google AdMob.
  2. The content of the ads is selected and served by Google AdMob, not by the Operator. We accept no responsibility for issues caused by the content of the ads.
  3. Ad content is restricted to a general-audience rating (G), but we do not warrant the content of any specific ad delivered.

Article 7 (Online Match Conditions)

  1. The online match feature is available only while the Operator provides and maintains the supporting servers.
  2. We may suspend, change, or terminate the online match feature at any time, without prior notice, for operational reasons.
  3. We do not guarantee match opponents or match results; matches may be interrupted due to network conditions, etc.
  4. If abuse is detected, we may suspend or restrict the offending user's use of the online match feature.

Article 8 (User Accounts)

  1. Parts of the App are available without sign-in (as a guest), but features such as online matches may require Google Sign-In.
  2. Users are responsible for managing their own account credentials.
  3. We are not liable for damages arising from unauthorized use of accounts or leakage of account information.

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

  1. We make no express or implied warranties that the App is free from defects in fact or in law (including, without limitation, safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, validity, or fitness for a particular purpose).
  2. We accept no liability for any damages arising in connection with the use of the App (including, without limitation, direct, indirect, special, or consequential damages or loss of profit), except where such damages are caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  3. We are not liable for any transactions, communications, or disputes that arise between users or between a user and any third party in connection with the App.

Article 10 (Suspension of Service)

  1. We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the App at any time, without prior notice, if any of the following occurs:
    • System maintenance or updates of the App
    • Force majeure events such as earthquake, lightning, fire, power outage, or natural disaster
    • Failure of computers or networks
    • Other circumstances where we determine that continued provision is difficult
  2. We are not liable for any disadvantage or damage suffered by users or third parties as a result of such suspension or interruption.

Article 11 (Restriction and Removal)

If a user violates any provision of these Terms, or we determine that there is a risk of such violation, we may, without prior notice, restrict the user's access to all or part of the App, or remove their registration for the online match feature.

Article 12 (Changes to the Terms)

We may change these Terms at any time, without notice, when we deem it necessary. The revised Terms take effect when they are posted on this page. Continued use of the App constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  2. In the event of any dispute concerning the App, the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's domicile shall be the exclusive court of jurisdiction by agreement.
